I think the Modesto Area Street Rod Association finally has found one great place to hold it's events. The Modesto Junior College West Campus was the perfect location to have the Graffiti Week Kick Off Show-N-Shine. Plenty of lawn for everyone and a lot trees for those who wanted the shade. The weather cooperated by being simply warm, not overly hot. There was no lack of rods for the annual kick off of Graffiti Week.  Hopefully you were able to attend, but if you were not able to, you can sure see what took place by viewing the following photo album.

The Modesto Area Street Rod Association (MASRA) put together a benefit car show for a number of members with health problems.  MASRA in association with the 5 Minute Car Wash located on Oakdale Rd. in Modesto, California put on a Friday evening car show. With all of the above normal rain around here, the day did not look good for a car show at all with black clouds hanging overhead.

The Modesto Area Street Rod Association presented their Graffiti '05' Show & Shine at the Resendiz Family Fruit Barn in Hughson on June 12th, 2005. They moved the show from the Longs Drug Store parking lot on McHenry to the Resendiz Family Fruit Barn this year. Normally they hold their annual Keno Run show at the Fruit Barn, but made this change this year.

The Modesto Area Street Rodders and Longs Drugs on McHenry Avenue presented their 2004 Show & Shine June 10th. Having not been to it before, I didn't know how much of a turn out the show would have. Well, I got a surprise since by the time show came to a close there was over 80 cars. I wasn't able to get several cars that came but left early. So take a peek at the photo album of the MASRA/Longs Show & Shine 2004.

What a difference in the weather from last year's drizzle to this year's beautiful blue sky's and rather warm temperature. The turnout was good... If you missed the 2004 Keno Run and Show & Shine, then take a look at what you missed right here in the 2004 Keno Run Photo Album...

The weather was not great for a Car Show at all in 2003, it drizzled for most of the morning. It didn't seem to deter everybody though, as the turnout of rods was still very good. The Resendiz Fruit Barn property is a great place to hold a car show, right down to the lagoon full of Koi. If you were one of those people who didn't go, take a few minutes to visit the 2003 Keno Run Photo Album.
