The Modesto Area Street Rod Association (MASRA) put together a benefit car show for a number of members with health problems.  MASRA in association with the 5 Minute Car Wash located on Oakdale Rd. in Modesto, California put on a Friday evening car show. With all of the above normal rain around here, the day did not look good for a car show at all with black clouds hanging overhead. The time arrived, the rods started rolling in and the rain held off until around 7:30pm when it started to lightly rain. At that point though, the show was already a success with over 100+ entries. The rain became a little heavier and a lot of rods headed home (no wipers). Considering the wet weather and the early show date, I would say the show had to be a very big success towards it's endeavor as a benefit car show for the ailing MASRA members. Please take some time to check out the rods & bikes that came to the show in support of those who were in need.
